What does a 6 month elimination period for dental insurance/indemnity plans/discount plans mean? - dental insurance elimination period

I am looking for a dental plan individual and I come across words I do not know. One is "waiting period of 6 months." I have no idea what that means. Please help.

This probably means that he is not on pre-existing conditions for six months. You can check a dental plan discount dental plans in force. Dentures plans usually cover pre-existing conditions.
